This does link your Automox devices to freshservice, but major improvements needs to be address. a couple of the major ones are:
1. When the device already exists in Freshservice, syncing the device sets the Asset Type to "Computer". This means that if you have any subtypes in computer, it is updated to "Computer" and all the custom fields are wiped. for exapmle an existing laptop that we had was in set as Computer/Windows with a custom attribute of Bitlocker Key. When the automox synced the device, it was moved to "Computer" and the bitlocker Key is gone
2. I also updated the "Product" field to "Automox Device" which messes up the inventory reports if you rely on that

Setup the integration and it duplicates assets repeatedly, has issues linking to existing assets, the information pulled in from the integration leaves a lot to be desired as well, linking to the Automox portal works if you can find the asset that it's tied to among all of the duplicates.

Does a a decent job of grabbing the host names and allow for some common automox tasks to be present in the app integration sidebar ( rescan, restart, patch all, run worklets). The biggest issue is that there are quite a bit of fields missing that could be filled out based on the information in automox ( doesnt fill out any of the hardware specs, reflects the networking information poorly, no user attribution). It could also do a better job recording interface and networking information. It could also use for some customization in the settings in order to better control how the data is brought over. It could also fill out the software and user attribtuion based on the information available in automox.
Note: You need an Automox account to integrate Freshservice to Automox.
● Log in to your Freshservice Admin console, navigate to Admin -> Apps and click “Get more Apps”
● Search for the Automox app, click the icon and then click Install.
● Enter your Freshservice domain and API Key. (To get the API Key, click the user profile icon at the top-right corner of the screen, click Profile Settings and copy the API key from the right panel.)
● Enter the Automox API key and click Next. (To get the Automox API Key, got to Automox -> Settings -> API and copy the API Key.)
● Select how often you wish to sync the asset information and enter the organization name.
● Click Install and the app will be installed in your account. The device sync will start immediately.
● Once the devices have synced, you can view the device status and perform device actions for these devices from the Ticket view page or the Device detail page.
